YOUTUBER!

I'm on YOUTUBE!
Yep, you heard right. I now have a youtube channel.

As of right now I only have two videos, but I was filming all day yesterday and have plenty more to come. I just need to edit them.

I'm still getting the hang of it, so bare with me.

I'm also going to be getting an external microphone and a better webcam to adjust the quality at some point hopefully soon.

Drum roll please!

I'm completely new to all this, so please feel completely free to give me tips, advice, and your thoughts on how I'm doing so I can improve! :)

AHHH SUNBURN.

Sunday Funday
My Downtown's birthday
And sunburn.
OUCH!

So, it's Downtown's birthday today.
But we were celebrating all weekend.

Sunday we had a super fun time swimming at my grandparents' house.
I think we went from 1 to 5.
Without sunscreen.
Our mistake.
LOL.

It was fun and I actually went underwater!
I've always hated going underwater.
But I did it.

We got home red and hurty.
Then we had tacos (beef AND steak; yummm) with our friends Erica and Ian.
After that we went to their house and set off fireworks!

Sunday Funday!

Today's the aftermath of the fun though.
Ouch.
I'm burnt pretty bad, my arms too even though it doesn't look it.

Downtown here is FRIED to a crisp.
"It's the third worse sunburn I've ever had"
Poor baby <3

He doesn't want me to post a picture of it lol but it's really bad.

Sorry if this post was a bit dull, the day itself was full of fun!
But I guess you'd just have to be there. :c

CHALLENGE:

Quick question, opinions needed!

I need your opinions!

I'm trying to decide which banner would look best at the top of this here blog.

I've got two options.
I need a second opinion (and third, fourth, fifth...) on which one would be more suiting.

There's this one, which I LOVE.
But it has my name, not my blog name.
And it doesn't have my facebook information.
I tried to fix it but then it just didn't look right.

OR

This one.
Which has all the information needed on it.
But looks more clean cut instead of collage-y.

I can't decide.

Opinions?
Ideas?
Help?

Outfit of the day: Right to bare arms!

Outfit of the day:
Right to bare arms!
------------------------
Yes ladies, that's right.
Tank tops.

For those of you reading this who know me, and remember me always wearing a black hoodie in 90 degree summer weather, you heard right.

No more!

I'm not ashamed of my arms.
I embrace them.
They're beautiful just like anyone else's.
I used to have almost panic attacks at the thought of me going outside showing my arms.

I'm done hiding!
Heck I'm even getting a tan.

I wore a tank top, outside, for the first time since I was a kid, a few weeks ago.
I looked right at Downtown and said "Wow, babe! The breeze feels so nice!"

I love summer now!

It's not so hot when you're not wearing a bulky hoodie or jacket.
I can't believe that I felt I had to hide my arms just so others wouldn't laugh at me.
I can't believe I missed out on so many summers in the house because it was too hot.
I can't believe I was SURPRISED at how great the breeze and the sun felt on my arms.
Like, I never remember experiencing that.
Can you imagine?

Enough of my ranting.
HERE IT IS! :)

 Sheer tights.
Short shorts.
Tank top.
Hello summer <3

I'm wearing different (shorter) shorts on the left.
But I was trying to show the slight hi-low of the shirt.
And then the super cute rufflies!

This shirt is I believe the last part of my CitiTrends haul.
7 dollars.
It's a little bit sheer so I wear a tank top under as well.
I'm sure you could get away with it with a light colored bra, though.
How cute?

 Dress.

ER MAH GERD.
I can't believe it.
Can you say "MADE FOR ME?"

Perfect cut
Perfect length
Sleeves?
YES!
And, as most people know, my favorite colors are red and black.
I paired this dress with some sheer black tights.
It's so soft and comfy you could even sleep in it.
And guess what.
Guess.
FIVE DOLLARS.
It was a five dollar dress.
From CitiTrends.

I look a bit bummy because honestly I just threw on this outfit.
Today is laundry and house cleaning day.
So why bother doing my hair? lol.
I just thought I'd give you readers another outfit of the day.
I might post another great find I found at CitiTrends later too.

But yes, in short, SUPER CUTE and only five dollars. Wow.
My search is over.

My Birthday! 20 as of June 15th.

Happy Birthday to Me!
And happy birthday to The Lion King!

Well, I've got a long post today.
Hope you like it!
A look into my life with my amazing family.

Well, let's get to the start of the day:

I woke up, feeling a little 'under the weather', and had breakfast.
Bacon, eggs, and a maple bagel.
I opened my card from Downtown.
It was super sweet and had the before mentioned gift card inside.
Did I mention I got some killer shades as well from my special man?

Anywho; by then it was time to start getting ready.
I got all dolled up in my polka dot heart outfit and we headed out to my parents' house.
My mom stopped and got a vanilla starbucks (can) and I got to try it.
Now, Downtown and I both are slightly addicted to Starbucks.
White chocolate ones are so yummy!

Fast forward to arrival:
Of course my birthday fell on Father's day so I got my dad a balloon that said you're number one and a card.
And my brother was already there.
We all sat and talked and watched boy meets world.
Then convinced Downtown it'd be a good idea to jump on the tire swing attached to a dead tree!
My other brother and his girlfriend show up and then food starts.
Yum.
Grill out with hamburgers, hot dogs, pulled pork, etc.

Grandparents show up and then it's picture time.
I look great in these photos if I do say so myself.
Usually they come out awkward and I'm usually making some sort of strange face. LOL.

We had strawberry cake and chocolate cake and of course ice cream.
It was a beautifully sunny day, even though everyone was saying it was going to rain.
Lucked out there. :)

I got a bunch of cards and some money, but I think what I love most is the family pictures and the memories. <3

That pretty much sums up the day. Now here comes the pictures!

Grandpa and Brother

Grandma and I

Mom, dad, and I

My brothers and I

My mom and I

Downtown and I <3

Not from my birthday;

Outfit of the Day: Crop tops!

Outfit of the Day:
Who says a big girl can't wear crop tops?
:)

So, for my birthday one of my presents from Downtown <3 was a gift card to this place called CitiTrends. So I got a shopping trip with my momma! So fun. (thank you, babe!)

http://www.cititrends.com <--- that's the link to see if they have one near you.

And I must say I found a ton of cute shirts and even a 5 dollar dress.
It's cheap, and cute, its just a little hard finding sizes and the sizes run all kinds of weird ways.
I wear a size 20 jeans. I know for a fact. But when I tried on their size 20's it was like squeezing into an 18. But as far as shirts and dresses, great great great.

I'll post more from my CitiTrends haul throughout the week.

But this rebel crop top caught my eye and I couldn't leave without it. It was only 7 dollars for cryin' out loud! It's a bit of a tight fit (i wanted a size up but this is the only one they had) but I think I pull it off well. It has football jersey type sleeves, but the rest is cotton-y.

I posted this on facebook and got really great feedback.
Big girls can wear crop tops too and look just as great/fashionable as anyone!

Just like one of my previous outfit of the day's.
Another crop top-- er tied up long sleeve shirt lol.

I love to pair them with a skirt at my waist and I got these super cute black opaque tights, might as well be called pantyhose.
They take a minute to get on, but they stay cool for in the summer and I like the sheerness too.
5 dollars at walmart.

By the way; sorry I haven't been posting every day. I've just been busy with my birthday and all. I will post pictures from my birthday party as soon as I get them emailed to me.
And I'll be posting more from my shopping trip throughout the week.

What do you think of crop tops?
Do you wear them?

My Shopping List

What's On My Shopping List?

Now, I must say this isn't even touching my entire shopping list.
But hey, you can never have too many clothes. lol :)

All of these are from AshleyStewart.com

The full price is a bit pricey, (not as bad as torrid, but not at all Deb prices),
BUT! Their sales are insanely good. I had a 3 hundred something dollar tab knocked down to like 200 dollars one time on one sale alone. Great prices, Better prices on sale days.

Business Chic:
-------------
This purchase would be my first pencil skirt ever. I'm a bit nervous about it, but I've seen a lot on great plus size fashion bloggers wear them and look completely amazing. Not to mention they look very professional.
A blazer is a must have. Seriously. Even if you're not getting dolled up for a business type event, it can really complement every day outfits as well.
As far as the red, I figured a splash of color would be good for an over all dark set.
Not to mention the strappy halter-y top part is so totally cute.
OH! and I would wear some thin black tights too.
-------------------
These are the top three contestants for the business chic outfit as far as the shirt.
I would tuck the ruffle pin stripe shirt in, though, if I were to wear that one.
I would probably end up buying all of them, because even if I don't use it for that particular outfit, I'd totally rock it somewhere else in my wardrobe.
----------------

Oh Em Gee, Peasant tops

I seriously cannot get enough of these peasant tops.
The black one I guess isn't actually one, but it still has a very similar style to it.
I love them so much.
So flattering!
And the off shoulder is one of my favorite looks.
Just too perfect.
---------------------------

Date Night with Downtown? Yes please.

I'm pretty convinced that this dress was made for me.
Red and black, shows off my waist, sweetheart cut, AND SLEEVES?
Yes please please please.
I 100% would most definately wear some sort of shape wear though. For sure. Just to make sure certain areas are neatly tucked in so that my smaller waist can shine on through.
------------------
And of course you need a good bra, am I right ladies??

Full coverage all the way.
Big busted ladies, I encourage you to try out the full coverage.
This one is absolutely perfect.
With my 42 DD's I need that full coverage to lift and support and get some nice (BUT CLASSY) cleavage going on, for sure.
And guess what girls?
EXTENDED SIZES AVAILABLE!
Great great great.
--------------------------------
Now, I have a mission for you.

Today's outfit of the day is a super cute, super fun one!

Found this entire gem at Gordman's :)

Tan and black heart shirt.
It has lace shoulders (see through) and a big lace heart (not see through).
Simple black leggings.
And I wear converse or ankle boots/booties with this.

Let's talk clothing. Plus size clothing stores!

Let's get down to business.
to defeat the huns.
sorry, disney girl.
had to.
:)

Ashley Stewart.

Torrid.

Deb.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ASHLEY STEWART
Ashley Stewart has got to be my number one. Very affordable, especially when they're having a sale (which is probably almost once a week), and super cute. They range from business workwear, to a night on the town, and comfortable stay at home and watch a movie wear. And everything in between.
---------------------------------
TORRID
Torrid, get ready to break the bank. Their clothes are some of the cutest most flattering clothes, but you pay an arm and a leg. I once put a shirt and a pair of jeans in my cart and it came up to 100 dollars. Granted they have sales almost as often as ashley stewart, you don't save as much at torrid. BUT you get what you pay for, I guess.
My favorite pair of pants from Torrid are these
Expensive? Yes. But I have never, I repeat, NEVER had a pair of jeans more flattering or more perfect than that pair up there. And every girl needs a perfect pair of jeans, am I right? :)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DEB
Deb is usually a hit or a miss. But that's because I'm a bit picky as far as short sleeve shirts. I personally don't like to show my arms much. 3/4 sleeve or longer for this girl. Deb has mainly shorter sleeve shirts. But I have found a handful of very cute shirts and jeans. They also have shoes, but they're usually size 10 and under. :(
Their accessories are cute too. And the best part? VERY AFFORDABLE. Yes, sometimes we fashion type girls can't shell out hundreds of dollars on clothes. Bargains bargains bargains!
-------------------------------------
So, in a nutshell, Ashley Stewart is my all time favorite, hands down.
Torrid is cute and flattering, but it's not great if you're trying not to break the bank.
Deb shops are GREAT if you don't mind bearing arms. :)

Love your tummy! Outfit of the day.

Outfit of the day!
tummy love <3
Leopard skirt: from Gordman's. On sale for like 11 dollars.
Black long sleeve: also from Gordmans. Alittle more pricey at around 16 dollars.
Leggings: thrifted. Less than 5 dollars.
Boots: from Payless.
It looks like they don't have the black in stock anymore.
:(

Messy hair provided by yours truly :)
Didn't feel like doing it, so theres a wavy mess of hair for ya.
Boots are so so comfortable. They come a little bit over the ankle.
I tied the long sleeve shirt up under the bust, and rolled up the sleeves.
Tummy love!!
No matter the tummy, this look is always flattering. Just a little waist showing.

Sorry it was a bit late.
Went mini golfing with my Downtown and our wonderful friend Erica! :)

Dentists, Fillings, Teeth pulling.

Say Ahhh!
DENTISTS! :O

Well, first off, I'd like to appologize for not posting yesterday.
I was in pain and just felt I needed to relax.
Or yknow, totally fall asleep on the couch.

I had some dental work done, again, some fillings.
Then I found out I need one of my teeth taken out.
$270 dollars I gotta shell out for that one. But that's okay.

So I figured I'd talk about how my fillings went.

I've had quite a few over the month.
Now I wince when my phone vibrates.
Reminds me of the buzzing of the drills.

It's really not that bad though, to be honest.
There was one of my top teeth that he couldn't get numb so that hurt, but that's a rare case. It just wasn't responding to the anesthetic. Weird.

They put this stuff on your gums with a cotton swab first so you actually barely feel the needle for it.
Then they wait like 5 minutes and you're good to go.

I bring music.
I strongly suggest that.

And also, take some ibuphrofen afterwards but BEFORE the numbing wears off.
You won't feel a thing.
I had to go get groceries so I didn't make it home before the numbing wore off.
So that... sort of hurt. Throbbingly.

BUT; I had reeeeally big cavities. So that's probably why.

Also, only eat soft foods (soft like yogurt, pudding, etc). They said I could chew on the other side so I made the mistake of eating normal foods trying to keep it on the one side, but nope. That ended in CRAZY amounts of pain. Unbareable.

But I'm doing fine now. :)

Should be getting my back tooth taken out in the next couple weeks.
Which I know isn't bad, cause I've had my wisdom teeth taken out and one back molar.
It's just sore, and it sucks eating yogurt all the time lol.

Advice? Take care of your teeth! I was a lazy little kid, and I'm paying for it now.
